<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floodlight for a vehicle and an emblem capable of displaying a glossy design part under a circumstance with visible light from outside irradiated, and capable of projecting light with a sufficient light volume, irrespective of shape or size of a display at projection of light. <P>SOLUTION: The floodlight for a vehicle 11 is provided with a light source part 13 and a cover part 15 covering the light source part 13, and emits light of the light source part 13 from its surface by transmitting the cover part 15. The cover part 15 is provided with a high refractive-index layer 21 capable of transmitting visible light, a low refractive-index layer 23 arranged on a rear face side of the high refractive-index layer 21, capable of transmitting visible light and having a lower refractive index than that of the high refractive-index layer 21, and a design part 25 fitted on the rear face side of the high refractive-index layer 21 and capable of viewing from a surface side. The design part 25 is formed of a fine concavo-convex structure 31 fitted at a side contacting with the low refractive-index layer 23 on the rear face of the high refractive-index layer 21. The fine concavo-convex structure 31 reflects visible light from outside incident from a surface side of the high refractive-index layer 21 and includes a number of inclined faces 33 transmitting light from the light source part 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
