<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a single phase brushless motor controller including an overvoltage protective circuit that prevents withstand voltage breakdown of a driving circuit, a power supply circuit or the like, without requiring any additional component even in a motor comprised of a single phase coil. <P>SOLUTION: A single phase brushless motor controller includes: a driver circuit 11 to drive a motor coil 13; a pre-driver 10 to generate control signals of driver circuit switching elements M11-M14 constituting the driver circuit 11 on the basis of a signal that has detected the position of a rotor and an output of the driver circuit 11; an overvoltage detection circuit 12 to form a regeneration route when a potential of the output of the driver circuit 11 increases, from a power supply voltage, up to a potential not less than a threshold value that is preset; and a regeneration route switching element constituting the regeneration route. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
