<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor capable of using an application which can undergo seamless execution across channels of different broadcast stations. <P>SOLUTION: As an organization ID for identifying an application provider, identification information of "common" which is common to all the providers can be set. Furthermore, in a case where the common identification information of "common" is set as the organization ID of an obtained XML-AIT, a controller 508 no longer prohibits the start of an application corresponding to the XML-AIT due to determination based on the organization ID.
