<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine which has an ion eluting device for eluting silver ions with an inexpensive structure. <P>SOLUTION: A detergent feeding cover 38 has a concave portion 39 for introducing water fed from a water supply port 36 to an inner part of a washing and dewatering bin 15, and is structured so as to have a housing part 51 in the concave portion 39, in which small pieces of silver crystal material 4 kneaded with the silver ion are encapsulated. Accordingly, the ion eluting device allows the silver ions to be easily and inexpensively incorporated in washing water in the washing and dewatering bin to elute them in higher solubility.
