<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuously variable transmission without making belt sandwiching force excessive. <P>SOLUTION: This continuously variable transmission 1 includes a belt 4 for changing a contact radius with a fixed pulley 3a and a movable pulley 3b, and includes an elastic means 5 for generating thrust for energizing the movable pulley 3b to the fixed pulley 3a side, and a thrust reducing mechanism 6 for restraining the thrust by the elastic means 5 from increasing when the movable pulley 3b moves in the axial direction of a shaft part 3c so that a groove width of a V groove becomes large. The thrust reducing mechanism 6 has a stopper 16 arranged in the shaft part 3c on the back face side of the movable pulley 3b and abutting on the elastic means 5, and a transmission means 11 arranged on the back face side of the movable pulley 3b being the fixed pulley 3a side more than the stopper 16 and energizing the movable pulley 3b to the fixed pulley 3a side by the elastic means 5. When the movable pulley 3b moves in the axial direction so that the groove width of the V groove becomes large, an abutting part between the transmission means 11 and the elastic means 5 relatively moves to the fixed pulley 3a side to the movable pulley 3b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
