<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle power supply unit in which an electric load can be operated stably by improving fuel consumption of a vehicle and the performance of the electric load can be enhanced. <P>SOLUTION: A power generation control section 15 estimates a value relating to a battery 12 such as the remaining capacitance of the battery 12 or the temperature of an electrolyte stored in the battery 12 and, if the estimated value is settled within a predetermined range, controls a power generation voltage of an alternator 10 to a voltage Vp. If the estimated value is out of the predetermined range, the power generation control section 15 increases/decreases the power generation voltage of the alternator 10 in accordance with the deceleration or acceleration of the vehicle. While the power generation control section controls the power generation voltage to the voltage Vp, a voltage control section turns on a FET 16 and/or 17 and while not controlling to the voltage Vp, the voltage control section turns on/off the FET 16 and/or 17, and controls an effective voltage to be applied to a motor 20 and/or a lamp 21 to a fixed voltage Vb lower than the voltage Vp. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
