<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot spring water pumping device and a pumping method capable of easily emitting gas, accumulated in an upper section of a suction shroud surrounding a submerged pump, without requiring external power. <P>SOLUTION: A slender gas collection pipe is connected to an upper end of a suction shroud so that the gas collection pipe is communicated with an inside of the suction shroud. A gas collection hole is provided at an upper end section of the gas collection pipe. The gas collection hole is arranged so as to positioned below a water level. A check valve is arranged inside the gas collection pipe so that a gas collection passage is blocked by pressure of hot spring water flowing inside a large diameter pipe and the gas collection passage is opened by the pressure of gas accumulated in an upper section of the suction shroud when becoming larger than the pressure of the hot spring water. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
