<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing device which prevents glossing processing on the same area of a sheet of paper to be repeatedly performed. <P>SOLUTION: A document image H is displayed on a display 126a of a liquid crystal display device 126, and, a dotted line hb around a photographic area ha on the document image H is also shown to distinguish the photographic area ha. Then, a logo area hc on the document image is specified. The positions of the photographic area ha (resin coated area) and the logo area hc on a copy of the document image are compared and whether or not the areas ha and hc overlap each other is determined.
