PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase speed of color conversion processing with hardware by suppressing a scale of the hardware.

SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus comprises: an input buffer 11 which divides one block into multiple steps and allocates an address to each pixel in a sub block unit divided in the order of division stage; a color conversion section 12 which performs color conversion processing in the order of addresses; a comparison part Mb which compares pixel values between pixel values within subblocks at the last division stage and compares pixel values between sub blocks divided at the same division stage by using one pixel at the head of the address within each subblock; and an output buffer 13 which copies and stores a pixel value after color conversion processing which is a pixel first subjected to color conversion processing in one block in other pixel in the one block when pixel values between pixels in all sub blocks are matched and pixel values within all sub blocks are matched, as a result of comparison by the comparison part Ma.
