<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking assist system for correcting the contracture of the foot of a paralyzed person. <P>SOLUTION: The walking assist system includes a walking assist device 10 and an inner shoe 30 to be put on the foot by a user H of the walking assist device 10. The walking assist device 10 includes: an orthosis 12 to be put on a thigh part; a sole unit 22 connected with the orthosis 12 and brought into contact with a ground surface; a detection sensor for detecting force applied when the sole unit 22 is brought into contact with the ground surface; and a controller 11 for controlling the movement of the orthosis 12 according to the detection result of the detection sensor. The inner shoe 30 has a toe part 31 for suppressing the contracture by energizing the contracture part of the toe of the user to the side of a bottom part 34 and maintaining the stretched state of the toe. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
