<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image processor and a medial image processing method for supporting an operation to set a point at an arbitrary three-dimensional position with respect to a three-dimensional medical image. <P>SOLUTION: When a mouse-down operation (operation to continuously depress the button switch of a mouse) is performed on a three-dimensional medical image 20 in the case of setting a point on the three-dimensional medical image 20, a CPU 101 moves the point in a depth direction. In this case, the CPU 101 calculates the concentration gradient of the depth direction of the three-dimensional medical image 20.
