<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To photograph a subject in a composition or an angle of view intended by a photographer even during slow display in which an image is displayed at a display frame rate lower than an exposure frame rate. <P>SOLUTION: Upon receipt of a slow display start trigger, an imaging apparatus 1 starts exposure of images at an exposure frame rate for recording to store exposed images in a buffer memory 16, while an image display part 7 sequentially displays images stored in the buffer memory 16 at a specified display frame rate. The display frame rate at the time is lower than the exposure frame rate, thus through images at the image display part 7 are displayed in slower motion than actual movement. When a direction of the imaging apparatus 1 is intentionally moved during slow display for photographing an intended composition by a photographer, an image cutting area 51 is changed on the basis of the moved amount of the imaging apparatus 1 so that the compositions of the display image and the recorded image are changed to realize the composition intended by the photographer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
