<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device for a vehicle that enables a direct input to a display part and also enables fatigue reduction while driving. <P>SOLUTION: A display device for vehicle comprises: a display part capable of displaying a plurality of information pieces; an input section that is provided near a driver's hand and enables the driver to select and input a piece of information desired by the driver from the plurality of information pieces; and a control section that controls an information display status on the display section according to an input from the input section. The display section also accepts information selection and input by a direct finger operation on a display surface in addition to the information selection and input from the input section, and is movable in front and rear direction of a vehicle. The control section moves the display section to a hand side of the driver or to a front window side according to at least one of a travelling state of the vehicle, a request by the driver, and a state of the information selection and input by the driver. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
