PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform such supercharging pressure control that controllability of an EGR rate is prevented from being reduced during transient operation in a diesel engine with a turbo supercharger capable of actively controlling supercharging pressure through operation of an actuator.
SOLUTION: A control apparatus calculates a first target value of supercharging pressure on the basis of an engine rotating speed and a fuel injection amount. An actuator is then operated under feedback control, such that an actual supercharging pressure calculated from a signal of a supercharging pressure sensor becomes closer to the first target value (normal target value). In such a case, however, only when a differential pressure between an actual exhaust pressure and the actual supercharging pressure is smaller than a prescribed differential pressure reference, a second target value (transient target value) is set, such that the differential pressure from the actual exhaust pressure becomes equal to or more than the differential pressure reference. When the second target value is set, a target value of feedback control is then changed from the first target value to the second target value. Furthermore, when the differential pressure between the actual exhaust pressure and the actual supercharging pressure is smaller than the differential pressure reference, the target EGR rate is changed into value lower than the value that has been determined from operation conditions of the engine.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
