<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform cell equalization control in a battery stack and current balance control between battery stacks efficiently, in a battery pack for vehicle including battery stacks connected in parallel. <P>SOLUTION: A battery ECU calculates the internal resistance of battery cells constituting a battery stack, for each battery stack, and disconnects a battery stack where the difference of the maximum value and the minimum value of internal resistance is equal to or higher than a threshold, from a power supply system by controlling a battery stack disconnection section. For the battery stack thus disconnected, a cell balance control section connected with each battery stack performs equalization control of battery cells constituting that battery stack. A current measuring section measures the current flowing through each battery stack. According to the measurement results of the current flowing through each battery stack, a stack balance section (battery stack resistance control section) controls the resistance of a resistor to be connected in series with the output terminal of each battery stack, so that the currents flowing through the battery stacks are equalized. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
