<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved method, an improved fastening element and an improved fastening device for fastening a structural element to a workpiece. <P>SOLUTION: A method for fastening a structural element (26; 70), in particular, a strip structure (70) to a work piece (12), in particular, to a body includes the steps of: fixing a stud (14) to the workpiece (12); mounting beforehand a fastening element (16) having a stud receptacle onto the structural element (26; 70); pushing the fastening element (16) onto the stud (14) in a length direction (z); and moving the structure element (26; 70).
