<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic type disconnector capable of making impact force small, which acts upon a contact surface between a movable electrode and a fixed electrode during pole closing operation while maintaining contact pressure of the movable electrode to the fixed electrode, required to maintain electrification performance of an external circuit while maintaining a pole closing state to electrifying high frequency and large current to the external circuit, and the control method thereof. <P>SOLUTION: An electromagnetic type disconnector includes a fixed electrode 2, a movable electrode 1, an electromagnet 3 for moving the movable electrode 1 to come into contact with the fixed electrode 2, and an operation circuit 51 for controlling the electromagnet 3 to bring the movable electrode 1 into contact with the fixed electrode when necessary. Second voltage lower than first voltage is applied to the electromagnet 3 to move the movable electrode 1 toward the fixed electrode 2, coming into contact with the fixed electrode 2 while the movable electrode 1 is separate from the fixed electrode 2. When the movable electrode 1 comes into contact with the fixed electrode 2, the first voltage is applied to the electromagnet 3 to maintain a press-contacting state between the movable electrode 1 and the fixed electrode 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
