<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil type electronic component using a magnetic material which can be manufactured at low cost and has both characteristics of high magnetic permeability and high saturation magnetic flux density. <P>SOLUTION: The coil type electronic component has a coil inside an element assembly or on the surface thereof. The element assembly of the coil type electronic component is composed of a particle assemblage of soft magnetic alloy made mainly of iron, silicon and chrome, an oxide layer generated by oxidizing each soft magnetic material particle to include much chrome in comparison with the alloy particle is formed on the surface of the particle, the oxide layer has a two-layer structure of an inner layer made mainly of oxide of chrome and an outer layer made mainly of oxide of iron and chrome, and the soft magnetic alloy particles are combined with each other through the outer layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
