PURPOSE: A scroll compressor is provided to minimize frictional loss between a turning scroll and a fixed scroll in spite of load variation. CONSTITUTION: A scroll compressor comprises a fixed scroll(4), a wrap part(50), a base part(60), a driving motor, a main frame(3), guide pins(66), and guide holes(56). The fixed scroll is installed inside a case. The wrap part is engaged with the fixed scroll to form a compression chamber. The base part is coupled to the wrap part and movably supports the wrap part toward the fixed scroll. The driving motor is coupled to the rear side of the base part to eccentrically rotate the base part and the wrap part. The main frame axially supports the base part and is installed inside the case. The guide pins and the guide holes are formed in both sides of the wrap part and the base part.
