<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indicator which has a higher forgery prevention effect by imparting a plurality of forgery preventive functions and to provide an authenticity judging method thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The indicator is comprised of a base material layer with a light transmission part. An adhesive layer having a light transmissive property, a metal layer having a layer thickness of 10 nm or more and 50 nm or less, a light transmissive material layer having a rugged structure with an aspect ratio of 0.1-1.5, and a printing layer are stacked on the light transmission part.
