<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfactorily lubricate and cool brakes that fixes ring gears of a planetary gear mechanism to a case. <P>SOLUTION: In the transmission 30, a first brake hub 43 of the brake B1 which can fix the first ring gear 31r, is arranged on the outer peripheral side of the second ring gear 32r, and a second brake hub 53 of the brake B2 which can fix the second ring gear 32r, is arranged on the outer peripheral side of the first ring gear 31r. A first friction plate 42 of the brake B1 is supplied with hydraulic oil as lubricating and cooling oil through a plurality of second lubricating oil supply holes 323r formed in the second ring gear 32r and a first lubricating oil flow hole 43o formed in the first brake hub 43.
