<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it recognized that a setting or an operation instruction by a menu allocated to a shortcut key is invalid and to prevent false recognition that a defect occurs in the shortcut key. <P>SOLUTION: A display control unit comprises: specific operation means for displaying a specific menu from a hierarchical menu composed of a plurality of menus for performing a setting or an operation instruction regarding a display control unit; and display control means for controlling: to display a specific menu in display means if the specific operation means is operated in a state where a setting or an operation instruction by the specific menu is possible; to display a menu higher in a hierarchy than the specific menu in the display means if the specific operation means is operated in a state where a setting or an operation instruction by the specific menu is impossible; and to display that a menu item to shift to the specific menu is invalid, in a recognizable manner. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
