<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift operating device of a vehicle capable of enhancing appearance of the shift pattern display and also securing the operability of the shift lever. <P>SOLUTION: The shift operating device of a vehicle includes: a light emitting unit 8 equipped with a gate groove 84 for forming the shift pattern of a shift lever 5 and making circumference of the gate groove 84 emit the light; a display panel 6 having light transparency for covering the light emitting unit 8 from above in which a shift lever 5 is mounted in a penetrated state and arranged to face an opening 4 of a cover member 2 for a vehicle interior; and a guide structure 7 for guiding a display panel 6 to be movable by synchronizing with the move of the shift lever 5. The light emitting unit 8 includes LEDs 82a, 82b for making the circumference of the gate groove 84 emit the light and display the shift pattern on the display panel 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
