<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify operation when closing a paper feed tray or a paper output tray, and to smoothly place a medium. <P>SOLUTION: This medium conveyance device is arranged to be openable/closeable with respect to a casing for an image forming device. The medium conveyance device includes: a holding member arranged movably with respect to the casing; a main stacking portion arranged movably with respect to the casing and provided to stack the medium thereon; a sub stacking portion arranged to be freely pulled out with respect to the main stacking portion and provided to stack the medium thereon; and an auxiliary member arranged movably between the main stacking portion and the sub stacking portion, moved in conjunction with motion of the sub stacking portion, and covering a boundary division between the main stacking portion and the sub stacking portion. The auxiliary member is movably arranged between the main stacking portion and the sub stacking portion, moved in conjunction with the motion of the sub stacking portion, and covers the boundary division between the main stacking portion and the sub stacking portion.
