PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus capable of easily setting desired color correction.

SOLUTION: A pixel extraction part 401 extracts a pixel which belongs to a color range specified in advance from correction target image data. A target color selection receiving part 403 receives selection of a target color by a user from plural target colors stored in a target color holding part 402. A color correction execution part 404 executes color correction to image data to be corrected based on a pixel color extracted by the pixel extraction part 401 and a target color selected through the target color selection receiving part 403. The target color extract part 406 extracts a target color to be registered from image data for target color registration held in a registration image holding part 405. A target color registration part 408 registers in the target color holding part 402 the target color to be registered extracted by the target color extract part 406 in association with a new color range input to a color range input part 407.
