<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply for lighting device and lighting device, capable of widening a variable range of an output current. <P>SOLUTION: The power supply for lighting device includes an output element which is connected between a power supply and an illumination load, executes switching operations of repeating an on-state and an off-state when a potential difference between the power supply and the illumination load is relatively large and maintains an on-state when the potential difference between the power supply and the illumination load is relatively small, and a constant-current element which is connected in series to the output element and limits an electric current running through the output element. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
