<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform various types of control relating to imaging by the concurrent use of a subject region by subject detection and a tracked region by tracking. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging unit 124 generates image data by taking an image of a subject. A subject detector 170 identifies a subject region with respect to the obtained image data. A tracking unit 174 identifies a tracked region as a tracking target with respect to the obtained image data. A distance determination unit 176 determines whether the identified subject region is included within a predetermined distance from the identified tracked region. If the identified subject region is included within the predetermined distance, a region integration unit 178 integrates information on the subject region to information on the identified tracked region. When the region integration unit 178 integrates the information on the subject region to the information on the identified tracked region, a controller controls imaging by use of the subject region. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
