<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flow control valve for preventing a seat portion from being interfered with when the valve element is operated. <P>SOLUTION: A PCV valve 40 includes a case 42, a valve body 60, and a spring 68. A measurement portion 66 is formed by a measurement hole 53 of the seat portion 43 formed halfway through a gas passage 50 and a measurement surface 62 formed on the valve body 60. Through axial movement of the valve body 60, the passage sectional area of the measurement portion 66 is adjusted, whereby the flow rate of a fluid is controlled. Formed on the valve body 60 are a plurality of guide ribs 72 protruding radially and having sliding surfaces 72a configured to be brought into sliding contact with the inner peripheral surface of the measurement hole 53. A maximum diameter surface portion 62a of the measurement surface 62 is formed in an outer diameter smaller than the diameter of a circumferential surface including the sliding surfaces 72a of the guide ribs 72. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
