<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a socket for tool capable of promptly discriminating whether a first fastening component or a second fastening component is set therein. <P>SOLUTION: The socket 1 for tool is mounted to a power tool and used for fastening and loosening of the fastening components. The socket 1 for tool includes an inner socket 2, an outer socket 3 storing the inner socket 2 inside thereof, and a mark member 4 fixed to the inner socket 2 so that it is visible from the outside. According to the position of the mark member 4 in the axial direction with respect to the outer socket 3, the socket 1 for tool allows visual distinguishing between a case where the first fastening component is fitted in an inner side hexagonal recess 22 and a case where the second fastening component is fitted in an outer side hexagonal recess 32 while a slide tip 21 is drawn into the outer socket 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
