<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for facilitating recognition of the position of a recommended lane indicated by the end of a guidance line. <P>SOLUTION: A lane guidance display system includes: forward image obtainment means for obtaining a forward image produced by imaging the front of a vehicle; lane specification means for specifying a recommended lane for the vehicle to be traveled in the forward image; and display control means for generating a guidance line between a backward endpoint indicating a position of the vehicle currently traveling, as a backward-side endpoint, and a forward endpoint indicating a point that is more forward than the backward endpoint in the recommended lane, as a forward-side endpoint, and causing a display part to display the forward image overlapped with the generated guidance line. Further, the display control means continuously updates the forward image overlapped with the guidance line and generates the guidance line so as to maintain the position of the forward endpoint in the vertical direction of the forward image at constant. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
