<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet seat apparatus improving the heat insulating performance of a toilet seat, having high energy-saving property, and high in safety and durability. <P>SOLUTION: The toilet seat apparatus includes the toilet seat 300 turnably pivoted to a body 200; a toilet seat heater 330 with a cord heater 332 disposed meandering on a soaking plate 331; and a heat insulating material 340 formed of a resin foam. The upper face of the heat insulating material 340 is provided with a plurality of protrusions 341 with a height dimension larger than the diameter of the cord heater 332. The heat insulating material 340 is installed with the protrusions 341 abutting against the soaking plate 331 to secure a clearance between the upper face of the heat insulating material 340 and the cord heater 332. The heat of the toilet seat heater is thereby prevented from being uselessly transferred downward from the toilet seat to improve thermal efficiency, and the deterioration of insulating covering caused by the contact between the insulating covering of the cord heater and the heat insulating material can be restrained to improve energy-saving property, safety, and durability. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
