<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an onboard power generation system capable of prevening a device from being damaged even under a condition of high temperature environment, thereby preventing a power generation performance from being lowered and a power generation from becoming impossible. <P>SOLUTION: The onboard power generation system 1 includes: an internal combustion engine 2; a first device 3 electrically polarized by supply of exhaust gas which is discharged from the internal combustion engine 2, and whose temperature rises and falls with time; a second device 4 for taking out power from the first device 3; a temperature sensor 5 detecting the temperature of the exhaust gas; a temperature lowering mechanism 6 lowering the temperature of the exhaust gas supplied to the first device 3; and a control unit 7 operating the temperature lowering mechanism 6, when the temperature detected by the temperature sensor 5 is a predetermined temperature or more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
