<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle braking device configured to detect a pressure increasing position fixation failure of a regulator piston and enable the vehicle to move after the detection. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicle braking device includes: a regulator which includes a high-pressure port, a low-pressure port, an output port leading to a servo chamber, a pilot chamber to be supplied with hydraulic pressure, and a regulator piston operating between a pressure increasing position for allowing the output port to communicate with the high-pressure port and a pressure reducing position for allowing the output port to communicate with the low-pressure port; a pressure increasing valve between a high-pressure source and the pilot chamber; a pressure reducing valve between a low-pressure source and the pilot chamber; and a control section which controls the pressure increasing valve and the pressure reducing valve. The control section includes a failure detection means which detects a pressure increasing position fixation failure, and when the pressure increasing position fixation failure is detected by the failure detection means, reduces pressure in the servo chamber by opening the pressure increasing valve and the pressure decreasing valve. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
