<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new cyclic hydrofluorocarbon, to provide a method for producing the same, and to provide a method for producing a cyclic hydrofluoroolefin as a raw material for producing the same. <P>SOLUTION: (1) A cyclic hydrofluorocarbon represented by formula (I) is provided. (2) The method for producing the same is provided, including a step of fluorinating a cyclic fluoroolefin of formula (II). (3) The method for producing the hydrofluoroolefin of formula (II) is provided, including a step of alkylating or fluoroalkylating a cyclic perfluoroolefin of formula (III). In formula (I), n is an integer of 1-3; R is a group represented by C<SB POS="POST">a</SB>H<SB POS="POST">2a+1-b</SB>F<SB POS="POST">b</SB>; (a) is an integer of 1-5; and b is an integer of 0-2a. In formula (II), n is an integer of 1-3; R is a group represented by C<SB POS="POST">a</SB>H<SB POS="POST">2a+1-b</SB>F<SB POS="POST">b</SB>; (a) is an integer of 1-5; and b is an integer of 0-2a.
