<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an OFDM relay apparatus capable of optimizing a position of effective symbol extraction interval and a transmission timing of interference wave according to D/U value, for avoiding reception quality degradation due to a diffracted transmission wave. <P>SOLUTION: An OFDM relay apparatus stores whether a D/U value at the relay apparatus is larger or smaller than a reference value in advance. The OFDM relay apparatus obtains a difference of preamble position between a desired wave and an interference wave. If the D/U value is larger than the reference value, the OFDM relay apparatus synchronizes transmission timing of the interference wave with a transmission timing of the desired wave, and sets a start position of effective symbol extraction interval at a position where the beginning of effective symbol is moved forward by the difference so as not to be influenced by a wave preceding the desired wave. If the D/U value is smaller than the reference value, the OFDM relay apparatus synchronizes transmission timing of the interference wave with a reception timing of the desired wave, and sets an effective symbol extraction interval immediately before the effective symbol so as not to be influenced by a delayed wave. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
