<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restart LED illumination with a current equal to or less than an allowable current of an LED module. <P>SOLUTION: An LED protection circuit includes an LED module, an LED load-open detection part which detects a voltage applied to the LED module and varies a reference potential, a latch circuit which maintains a latch state with the reference potential of the LED load-open detection part, a current limiting part which receives an output signal of the latch circuit and outputs a first signal, an LED load connection sensing part which varies the reference potential through the first signal and outputs a second signal, a trigger input part which is connected to the LED load connection sensing part, and outputs a third signal using the second signal, and a monostable vibrator which outputs a fourth signal as a rectangular wave for a certain time when receiving the third signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
