<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of the conventional navigator devices in which accurate toll prices cannot be provided if they are calculated according to toll price information stored in a navigation device itself because the toll road pricing systems have become more complex recently and therefore users may not provided with correct toll prices and it has been difficult for users to judge whether or not they can get cheaper toll prices in the case of different arrival times if only one route is shown, and to provide a navigation device with which a user can make an accurate judgement on toll prices including toll prices in the case of different arrival times. <P>SOLUTION: Toll price maps for toll road sections included in a route searched, at transit time including an expected transit time in the case of a specified arrival time and other different transit time are obtained, and toll prices for the route in the case of arrival times that are different from the specified arrival time as well as toll prices for the route in the case of the specified arrival time are calculated using the toll price maps. Therefore accurate toll road prices can be shown to a user and the user can make an accurate judgement on toll prices in the case of different arrival times. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
