<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat tube that facilitates assembly of a header-less heat exchanger. <P>SOLUTION: A flat tube 4 comprises a fitted body of a groove type first plate 1 and a second plate 2, and swell parts 3 are provided at both ends of each plate. Vertical wall parts 1b, 2b are formed at both sidewalls of the swell part 3, and the cross section of each of the sidewalls 1a, 2b in other than the swell parts 3 is formed into a curved wall part 7 which is curved outward.
