<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear for a deceleration mechanism used in an electric power steering device which is a resin gear enabling to secure noise reduction of the gear, and having dimension stability and wear-resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The gear includes a resin part, which is formed of a resin composition containing 10-50 mass% of aramid particles and has gear teeth formed on its outer circumference part, and is integrated on an outer circumference of a metal core pipe.
