<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface acoustic wave sensor capable of simply performing measurement and improving measurement accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: A surface acoustic wave sensor comprises: a piezoelectric element substrate (10) for propagating a surface acoustic wave; electrodes (11-1a, 11-1b, 11-2a, and 11-2b) for converting an electrical signal into the surface acoustic wave; a detection area (12) which is arranged on a propagating path of the surface acoustic wave and introduces a liquid being a specimen; a porous base material (13) for contacting with the detection area and infiltrating the liquid ; and sealing structures (14-1 and 14-2) for preventing the electrode from contacting with the liquid. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
