<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centrifugal air blower in which noise reduction effects are improved. <P>SOLUTION: A centrifugal air blower 51 includes an impeller 23 which is rotated around a rotation axis A and includes an air intake port 19a. The impeller 23 includes a plurality of blades 21 which are disposed around the rotation axis A. At a rear edge 62 of the blade 21, a recess 71 is provided which is recessed toward the side of a front edge 61, in an area opposite to the air intake port 19a. In the direction of the rotation axis A, a ratio (h1/H) of a length h1 of the recess 71 with respect to a length H of the rear edge 62 is settled within the range of 0.25-0.5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
