<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microwave heating device capable of achieving both a reduction in an energy consumption amount and the improvement of heating efficiency by efficiently transmitting microwave energy. <P>SOLUTION: The microwave heating device has a microwave generation part 3 for outputting a microwave, a conductive heating chamber 5 to which the microwave is guided and of which an end part 5a in an advancing direction of the microwave is shirt-circuited, and a matching box 7 provided between the microwave generation part 3 and the heating chamber 5. The heating chamber 5 has an opening 6 for allowing a body to be heated to pass through the inside thereof, and the matching box 7 is configured to re-reflect a reflection microwave reflected at the end part 5a of the heating chamber 5 toward the heating chamber 5. A cylindrical waveguide made of a conductive material connects between a microwave output end of the microwave generation part 3 and the matching box 7, and a cylindrical waveguide made of conductive material connects between the matching box 7 and the end part 5a of the heating chamber 5 except the opening 6 for allowing the body to be heated to pass through. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
