<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary battery charging device capable of avoiding non-traveling state of a vehicle incident to decrease in charging capacity of an auxiliary battery, while limiting the effort applied to a user. <P>SOLUTION: When a switch 6 is turned on, the power supply source to a voltage conversion circuit 4 and a control circuit 10 is switched from an auxiliary battery 3 to a backup power supply 5 by means of switches 7, 8 provided between an output terminal of the voltage conversion circuit 4 and the backup power supply 5. When the control circuit 10 is self-started with power from the backup power supply 5, the control circuit 10 actuates the voltage conversion circuit 4 and charges the auxiliary battery 3. Furthermore, the output terminal of the voltage conversion circuit 4 and the backup power supply 5 are connected electrically by means of the switches 7, 8, and the backup power supply 5 is charged with power output from the voltage conversion circuit 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
