<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To timely provide affected part information inside a body cavity to a doctor without increasing a work burden on a medical worker such as the doctor. <P>SOLUTION: This observation system includes: a marking device applying marking to an affected part inside the body cavity of a patient; and an observation device displaying the video of the affected part. The marking device has: a storage device allocating a peculiar mark to the affected part information, and storing a database wherein the affected part information and the peculiar mark are associated; a marking unit capable of being introduced into the body cavity; and a drive part driving the marking unit so as to mark the peculiar mark to the affected part or the vicinity of the affected part. The observation device has: an acquisition part acquiring a video signal of the affected part; a detection part detecting the peculiar mark marked to the affected part or the vicinity of the affected part by use of the video signal; an extraction part extracting the affected part information from the database based on the detected peculiar mark; and a display processing part displaying the video of the affected part or the vicinity of the affected part and the affected part information on a screen. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
