<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable detection of a temperature inside a battery pack with a temperature detection method that is different from a method using a temperature detection element dedicated to a thermistor or the like. <P>SOLUTION: A microcomputer of a battery pack measures a pulse width Wp of a reset pulse from a voltage detection IC (S110) and calculates an IC temperature Tc on the basis of the reset pulse width Wp (S120). Then, the microcomputer obtains a thermistor detection voltage Vt from a thermistor 3 (S130) and calculates a thermistor detection temperature Tt on the basis of the thermistor detection voltage Vt (S140). Next, the microcomputer calculates the maximum value Tt_max and the minimum value Tt_min of an assumable temperature range of the thermistor detection temperature Tt on the basis of the IC temperature Tc (S150). Following this, when the thermistor detection temperature Tt is equal to or higher than the maximum value Tt_max (S160:NO) or is equal to or lower than the minimum value Tt_min (S170:NO), the microcomputer determines that the thermistor 3 has an abnormality (S190). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
