<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission device capable of surely starting an engine by a kick starter means, without increasing transmission capacity. <P>SOLUTION: This power transmission device includes a clutch housing 2 formed with driving side clutch plates 6, a clutch member 4, driven side clutch plates 7 alternately formed with the driving side clutch plates 6, a pressure member 5 capable of bringing the driving side clutch plates 6 and the driven side clutch plates 7 into pressure contact with each other or releasing pressure contact force, and a kick starter means 10 capable of imparting torque to a shaft 3 and capable of starting the engine by transmitting the torque to the engine via the clutch member 4. An inverse driving side pressure contact assist cam is formed for increasing the pressure contact force of the driving side clutch plates 6 and the driven side clutch plates 7 when the torque is imparted to the shaft 3 by the kick starter means 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
