<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary table device including a brake mechanism capable of obtaining strong and sufficient braking force. <P>SOLUTION: The brake mechanism 14 includes: an inner peripheral surface and an outer peripheral surface of a sleeve 41 coaxially formed with an axis of a rotary table 11; an outside stationary part 54 provided in a stationary member 12, which rotatably supports the rotary table 11, to form an outside oil pressure chamber 44; and an inside stationary part 55 provided in the stationary member 12, being disposed radially inside of the outside stationary part 54, to define an inside oil pressure chamber 45. The outside stationary part 54 is elastically deformed in the radial direction by the expansion of the outside oil pressure chamber 44, and pushes the outer peripheral surface of the sleeve 41 formed in the rotary table 11. The inside stationary part 55 is elastically deformed in the radial direction by the expansion of the inside oil pressure chamber 45, and pushes the inner peripheral surface of the sleeve 41 formed in the rotary table 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
