<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight buckle with a locking mechanism facilitating manufacture and capable of preventing release of engagement due to application of a pushing pressure directly acting on an operation plate. <P>SOLUTION: This buckle includes a sliding piece on the buckle body, the sliding piece being movable on the upper part of the operation plate of the buckle in the horizontal direction. When the sliding piece is on a connecting shaft, a band is configured to approach to the buckle but not to retreat therefrom. When the sliding piece has moved to one end side of the operation plate, swinging of the operation plate is restricted. When the sliding piece has moved to the other end side of the operation plate, the engagement between the buckle and the band is released. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
