<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a streak tube preventing a change of a streak image in a spatial direction to achieve high accuracy multichannel measurement. <P>SOLUTION: A streak tube includes: a container 2 having an incident surface plate and an output surface plate; a photoelectric surface provided inside the container 2, for emitting electrons according to light to be measured incident from the incident surface plate; and a sweeping electrode 10 provided inside the container 2, and having a pair of deflection plates 11 and 12 for generating an electric field, and connection leads 13 and 14 connected to the deflection plates 11 and 12, respectively, for sweeping the electrons in a sweeping direction along the output surface plate. A pair of edges 11a and 11b in a direction along the output surface plate of the deflection plate 11 are formed so as to extend in a direction from the incident surface plate toward the output surface plate. The connection lead 13 has a first connection 13a electrically connected to the deflection plate 11.
