<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a sound absorber formed by laminating and bonding a nonwoven fabric and a perforated film, which is superior in sound absorbing performance. <P>SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a sound absorber includes: passing a laminate formed by laminating a nonwoven fabric and a perforated film having two melting points through a pressure roll heated at a temperature between the two melting points of the perforated film, the difference between the two melting points being around 10°C; then softening or melting the perforated film to give adhesiveness; and then bonding and laminating the nonwoven fabric and the perforated film by the adhesiveness to obtain the sound absorber. As the nonwoven fabric, a short fiber nonwoven fabric having density of around 150 to 450 g/m<SP POS="POST">2</SP>is used, which is obtained by opening a short fiber having fineness of 1.7 to 6.6 dtex by a carding method and entangling the short fibers with each other by a needle punch method. As the perforated film, one having circle holes each having a diameter of 0.5 to 1.0 mm with an aperture ratio of around 0.8 to 4.9% is used. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
